TERMS & CONDITIONS

WORKING FARM

The site is on a working farm. Guests are not permitted to go off the designated glamping site without permission and will act in a responsible manner at all times. There may be the sound of tractors and milking parlours occasionally. But we think this just adds to the experience.

COVID-19

Our team is working hard to keep our facilities clean however White House Glamping cannot be held responsible for the transmission of coronavirus during your stay. By placing a booking with us you agree to these terms and agree to act with responsibility and respect of the coronavirus restrictions that are in place at our site.

COVID-19 CANCELLATIONS

We are offering guests some flexibility by allowing them to reschedule their trip for free if we cannot fulfil the booking due to a government lockdown covering the Herefordshire region. To be clear: if you are unable to attend your booking because you have covid or are isolating due to track and trace then the normal cancellation policy will apply.

ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES

No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures. Check-out is at 10am. Guests that overstay may be charged for an extra night.

CHANGES TO YOUR HOLIDAY

Bookings cannot be amended within 30 day(s) of arrival.

DOGS

Dogs are permitted on site at an extra charge of £10 per dog per stay. 

Please make sure that your dog is clean before they enter the cabin.

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised around other guests and near livestock.

Owners must pick up their dog’s mess.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.

DAMAGE

In the event of a guest causing damage, they will be charged for the amount needed to rectify the issue including the staff time to deal with the issue. White House Hideaway will seek to resolve the issue in the most cost effective manner and will provide evidence of quotes for the guest.

RIVER

The farm has a river which guests are permitted to access but shall not swim in. They shall act with courtesy and respect for any other guests and fishermen that are there.

You’ll need an Environment Agency rod licence (you’ll need to apply for this beforehand) if you wish to fish on the river.

SAFETY

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times. Fire pits must remain in their designated areas and be kept well away from the cabin.

No candles are permitted in the cabin.

COMPLAINTS

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the managements attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

BOOKINGS

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.

FISHING

You’ll need an Environment Agency rod license. You’ll need to apply for this beforehand if you wish to fish on the river.

HIRED ACCOMODATION

Your unit must be left clean and tidy, a fine of £50.00 will be charged for unclean units upon departure.

LOST PROPERTY

For lost property returns, White House Hideaway charges £10 for small items and £15 for large or valuable items towards staff costs for travelling to a Post Office, postage and packaging.

GUEST EXPECTATIONS

No amplified music or drumming at any time No fireworks or sky lanterns No glitter (we’re next to a brook meaning it ends up in there – think of the fish!) The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
