We are dog friendly and many guests bring their dog. We allow up to 2 dogs per booking at an additional charge of £10 per dog to help with extra cleaning responsibilities. We are on a working farm so request that dogs are kept on a lead when they are near livestock. Please bear in mind that the cabin is small so you should plan bringing your furry friend(s) accordingly.
Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is 10am. We operate a self-checkin policy. You’ll receive instructions on how to arrive before your stay.
By booking directly you pay a 30% deposit upfront and the remaining balance 6 weeks before your check-in date.
We have a 1 month cancellation policy.
You have everything you need in the cabin for a relaxing stay, including hot water, kitchenette with gas stove, fridge and pans/utensils/crockery, a table and chairs, double bed with luxury bedding, bathroom with shower, sink and compost loo (incinerating loo in Pheasant). Hot tub. Picnic bench, fire-pit with grill, outdoor chairs.
The cabin is powered by solar and gas. Heating is provided by a wood stove. The cabin warms up quickly with the stove and retains heat very well. You will have enough electricity for up to 3 days without recharging. Do not plug in hairdryer or straighteners as this can trip the system.
Each cabin has a hot tub. They are wood fired and take about 1 hour to heat up. Clear instuctions are provided. Hare also has a cold plunge which can be filled by those wanting a chilly dip.
