Without buying cabins, managing guests or taking on another job.
We invest in premium off-grid cabins and handle the setup, marketing, bookings and day-to-day operation. You provide the right piece of land and share in the income.

See what we built on our own family farm
Guests aren't looking at land in the same way you do. They value privacy, a view, a woodland edge, an orchard, water nearby — somewhere that feels like an escape.
That means an overlooked corner of the farm can sometimes be far more valuable as a place to stay than its agricultural value would suggest.

When you've worked somewhere for years, it's surprisingly easy to stop noticing what makes it special.
For the right site, a three-cabin partnership could provide the landowner with £10,000+ a year in additional income.
We fund the cabins and operate the hospitality business.
This is potential income, not a guarantee. Actual income will depend on the site, permissions, performance and final partnership structure.
A small footprint. The rest of the field stays a field.
We're not looking for your best agricultural land. We look for overlooked edges, hedgerows and pockets of land where a cabin can sit naturally within the farm.
The cabin itself occupies a remarkably small footprint, and farming can continue around it.

“It hasn't got in the way of farming. We still use the field normally.”Will Edwards

White House has been our family's farm for four generations. Nearly ten years ago we started looking for ways to diversify it and make the farm stronger for the next generation.
Dad still farms here today. The accommodation grew alongside the farm rather than replacing it.
What started as an experiment has become one of the strongest parts of the farm business — while the farm itself has carried on farming.
“These days we need a mix of things going on on the farm. Farming is always coping with some crisis — whether it's prices, governments or weather. It's good to have something that ticks on regardless.”— Will Edwards, Farmer & Landowner
Because the last thing most farmers and landowners need is another full-time job.
But it has taken us nearly ten years to learn how to price the stays, market them, manage guests, build the right team and operate the cabins efficiently.
We've made the mistakes already so our partners don't have to.
We've built the machine. Now we're looking for exceptional land to plug into it.
We're initially expanding out from Herefordshire, but we're interested in hearing about exceptional land elsewhere in the UK too.
Not sure if it works? Send it anyway.
Send us the location, a few details and, if you have them, some photos.
We look at the setting, access, local demand, planning/licensing options and commercial potential.
If it looks promising, Rich will come and see the land and explore potential cabin locations with you.
We agree the commercial structure, invest in the cabins and handle the work required to get the operation running.
For the right site, we believe a three-cabin partnership could provide the landowner with £10,000+ a year in additional income. Actual income will depend on the site, permissions, performance and the commercial structure we agree.
No. White House funds the cabins and the accommodation operation.
We assess the most appropriate planning and licensing route for each site and handle the process on your behalf.
For suitable sites, there may be routes that avoid a lengthy full planning application. We'll assess this early, so you have a clear idea of what's realistic before either side commits.
You won't be left to navigate the process yourself.
We're generally looking for enough suitable space for at least three cabins, but the physical footprint of each cabin is small and they do not need to sit together.
Our aim is the opposite. We look for edges and pockets of land rather than taking over productive agricultural ground, and design the layout around the existing farm.
We do. White House handles bookings, guest communication, housekeeping and day-to-day hospitality operations.
No. Our cabins can operate off-grid using solar and gas.
The site needs access to a suitable water supply, such as mains or an appropriate private/borehole supply. We'll assess this with you.
We're looking for long-term partnerships because we invest significantly in each site. The exact term and commercial structure will be discussed clearly before either side commits.
We're initially expanding from our Herefordshire base, but we're happy to hear from owners of exceptional land elsewhere in the UK as we build the next stages of the network.
A postcode and your contact details are enough to start. We'll take an initial look at the area and get in touch to have a conversation.
Rich will take an initial look and we'll be in touch if it looks like there could be a fit.
