Dog-Friendly Cabins in Herefordshire

stays for couples and their dogs

A proper countryside escape for you and the dog.

Bringing the dog shouldn’t mean compromising on the place you stay.

White House Hideaway is set on our family farm in the Herefordshire countryside, close to Ross-on-Wye and the River Wye. All five of our cabins welcome dogs, but each offers a slightly different experience.

If having your own enclosed outdoor space matters most, Moss is our best choice. Our other cabins are equally private and surrounded by countryside, but their outdoor areas are not fully enclosed.

Things to know before bringing your dog.

  • White House Hideaway is on a working family farm, so livestock and farm activity may be nearby.
  • You may also encounter farm dogs, other guests and their dogs while walking around the farm or on the way to the river.
  • As we’re surrounded by countryside, there is plenty of wildlife, including rabbits and birds.
  • Reactive dogs are very welcome, but owners are responsible for deciding whether the setting is suitable for their dog and for keeping them under control where needed.
  • Outside Moss’s enclosed orchard, dogs should be kept on a lead or under close control, especially around livestock, other dogs and wildlife.
  • Please pick up after your dog and dispose of waste responsibly.
  • Dogs shouldn’t be left unattended in the cabins for long periods.
  • River conditions vary, so dogs should be supervised around the River Wye.
  • Bramble has a mezzanine level which is accessed by ladder which dogs cannot climb.
